What I receive and why
- Contact form, email or WhatsApp: your name, email and what you tell me about your business. I use this information to reply, prepare a quote and, if you hire me, deliver the agreed service.
- Payments: handled by Wompi, Stripe or PayPal according to the service and currency. This site does not receive or store your card or bank details. I receive the transaction information supplied by the provider, such as status, amount, reference and payer contact details, to verify payment, deliver the service and invoice.
- Form security: the server uses a hash of the IP address and timestamps to limit repeated submissions and reduce spam. The hosting provider may process technical connection information to operate and protect the site.
I do not sell your data or use it for advertising. I use Hostinger for website and email hosting, and your chosen payment platform to process payment.
Browser preferences and storage
Your selected language and currency are remembered in your browser's local storage. Without a previous preference, the homepage starts in Spanish and COP; the Canada and US routes have their own regional defaults. You can also open a page with a language specified in its link. These preferences are not selected from your time zone and do not require a location lookup.
The light or dark theme is stored in the tab's session storage. It stays selected while you browse in that session; a new session starts in dark mode. You can change these options using the website controls or clear the site's data in your browser.
I do not include advertising cookies or third-party analytics tools. Browser caching reuses files such as images, fonts and styles to make the site load faster.
External resources and links
The background may load a graphics library from jsDelivr. That provider receives normal technical connection information, such as your IP address and browser information. The site's own images and fonts are served from this website.
If you use the domain checker, your browser sends the name you enter to the relevant public registries (Verisign, CIRA or Radix) and Google Public DNS. These connections also transmit normal technical information. Domain purchase links go to Hostinger with my referral code.
When you open WhatsApp, a social network or a payment platform, that provider's privacy policy also applies. Social icons are links and do not embed those platforms' tracking widgets.
How long I retain data
For the duration of our conversation or service, and afterwards only as needed for accounting and legal obligations or matters related to the service. Browser preferences remain there until you change or clear them; the theme depends on the session.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You can access, update, correct or request deletion of your data and withdraw your authorisation, where applicable, by writing to info@yourwebcrafter.com. The contact channels and response periods are the same in both languages.
Under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012, data enquiries are answered within 10 business days of receipt, and complaints within 15 business days starting on the day after receipt. If a legally permitted extension is needed, I will explain the reason and the new date: up to 5 additional business days for enquiries or 8 for complaints.
If you remain dissatisfied after making your enquiry or complaint to the responsible person, you can contact Colombia's Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio. This does not limit other rights available under applicable law.
