A useful service-business website answers the questions behind an enquiry: what you do, where you work, what it involves, why someone can trust you and how to start.
Answer five practical questions
- What service do you provide, in the customer's words?
- Which locations or types of project do you cover?
- What does the price include, or how is a quote prepared?
- What real work or experience can you show?
- How can someone contact you and what happens next?
A price range helps only when its scope is explained. If a visit or assessment is necessary, describe that process rather than inventing a fixed amount.
Put evidence near the offer
Show relevant projects, real photographs and authorised testimonials. A short personal introduction can help explain who will do the work. Avoid stock images that look like your own team or examples presented as completed client jobs.
Build a clear reading order
Start with the offer and a contact route, explain services and scope, show evidence, answer common questions and offer the next step again. Adjust that order to the visitor's task. A longer explanation can be useful when the service is complex.
Use photos with context
For a real project, show the finished work and a process image when it explains something useful. Get permission before showing people or private interiors. Before-and-after images should represent the same job under comparable conditions.
Illustrative cleaning-business example: separate home and office services, list coverage and inclusions, and ask about floor area and frequency before quoting. This describes a possible content structure, not a client's commercial results.
An optical-store example
Separate frames and lenses from the professional services the business actually provides. Explain which enquiries need an appointment and which details the team needs to respond. Do not present changing stock or prices as confirmed.
Show the real location, hours and useful directions. Let customers say whether they need a product, lens information or an appointment enquiry. The business confirms the details through the agreed channel.
Test before sharing
From a phone, read the offer, find a relevant service and complete an enquiry. Check both the page and the business's reply process. Keep the information current as services and conditions change.
